Designtree (Rebecca and I) had a meeting with the lovely people at Productspec early in 2014.  They needed some new work desks for the office they were soon to shift into.  Working with the Productspec team we designed and produced 10 raw steel and timber desks. 

2 steel ribbons twist around underneath the FCS certified laminated Beech timber tops to provide a stable support structure.  At initial glance the legs look very simple, but as you move around the table the slight twist in each bend in each leg provides an interesting perspective and gives a clue as to how we've managed to triangulate the legs and provide a very stable structure from a few 'simple' bends.
